    Welcome

    Money is more than numbers.

For women of faith, it is a tool of stewardship, generosity and Kingdom impact.

This FoundHers Circle explored what we can learn from Lydia, a successful businesswoman in the Bible who used her influence, resources and home to support the early Church.

Rather than viewing wealth as something to pursue for its own sake, we explored how God invites us to build with integrity, wisdom and purpose.

    Session Overview

Lydia was one of the first recorded businesswomen in Scripture.

She sold purple cloth, a luxury product that required skill, excellence and leadership.

Yet what makes Lydia remarkable is not simply that she prospered. She recognised that everything God entrusted to her could be used to advance His Kingdom.

This session encouraged women to think differently about success, wealth and stewardship. Not as personal achievement. But as faithful management of God's provision.

    Devotional

    Wealth With Purpose

The Proverbs 31 woman wasn't praised because she accumulated wealth. She was praised because she used wisdom.

Lydia wasn't remembered because she owned a successful business. She was remembered because she opened her home, served others and supported God's work.

Kingdom wealth is never just about income. It is about impact.

How am I using what God has already entrusted to me?

    What We Explored

    1Lydia Created Wealth Through Excellence

God honours excellence. Excellence isn't perfection. It is bringing our best to the work He has given us.

Reflection: Where am I minimising my gifts or the value I bring through my business?

2Lydia Stayed Open to God's Direction

Although Lydia was already successful, she remained teachable. She responded when God spoke. Wisdom grows when success remains surrendered.

Reflection: What area of my business or finances needs more wisdom?

3Lydia Used Her Wealth to Build Community

True wealth multiplies beyond ourselves. It blesses families. Communities. Churches. Future generations.

Reflection: Who benefits because of the work I do?

    4Lydia Understood Stewardship & Protection

Building wealth is only one part of stewardship. Protecting what God has entrusted is equally important. Healthy structures. Wise decisions. Good advice. Long-term thinking.

Reflection: What areas of my life or business need better protection or structure?

    5Lydia Recognised Her Season

Different seasons require different priorities. There are seasons for building. Growing. Resting. Giving. Preparing. Wisdom recognises the season before making decisions.

Reflection: What season am I truly in right now?
