Welcome
How full is your jar?
Not your calendar. Not your inbox. Not your business. Your heart.
As women, we often spend our days pouring into everyone else, our families, clients, businesses, churches and communities.
Eventually we realise we've been pouring for so long that we've forgotten what it feels like to be filled ourselves.
This FoundHers Circle invited every woman to pause, breathe and honestly look at what was filling her life.
Session Overview
The Overflow Jar was created to make something invisible visible.
Instead of simply talking about stress, peace, love and pressure, we represented them physically using different pieces inside a glass jar.
As each reflection was read aloud, participants added crystals, hearts, rings or blocks to their jar.
By the end, every jar looked different. Every jar told a story.
And every woman was reminded that God isn't asking us to carry everything. He invites us to make room for His restoration.
Devotional
Restoration Is Received
Psalm 23 doesn't say: "Restore your own soul."
It says: "He restores my soul."
That's an important difference. Our world often tells us to work harder, become more productive and simply push through.
God offers another invitation. Slow down. Make space. Receive.
What is taking up the most space in my heart right now?
Understanding Your Overflow Jar
Each item placed into the jar represented a different part of life.
Crystals
Peace. Rest. Joy. Clarity.
Small moments that refill your soul.
Hearts
Love. Friendship. Support. Relationships.
The people who remind you that you don't have to walk alone.
Rings
Healthy boundaries. Balance. Margin.
Saying yes wisely.
Blocks
Pressure. Stress. Responsibility. Overthinking.
The emotional weight we often carry silently.
Sarah's Reflection
During the Circle, Sarah shared that when she completed this exercise herself, she realised her own jar had become filled with "shoulds."
Not bad things. Just expectations. Responsibilities. Things she believed she ought to carry.
That simple visual reminder became an invitation to let God decide which burdens truly belonged to her.
Sometimes freedom doesn't come from adding more. It comes from releasing what was never ours to carry.
Take-Home Declaration
Read this aloud each morning this week.
Today I choose peace over pressure.Presence over perfection.Grace over grind.I am filled from within, not by striving but by resting in God's rhythm.I pour from overflow, not emptiness. My soul is restored. My heart is steady.I carry peace wherever I go.
